What I eat in a day (feeding tube edition)

My disability affects my muscles, including the ones we use to eat. So instead of eating my mouth, I get all of my nutrition through my feeding tube. Super easy!

I have two cartons every night. I only eat at night because it’s too uncomfortable for me to eat sitting up. So I just load up on calories and water while I’m laying down. I do a feeding when I first go to bed and then usually around 7 or 8am, depending on what I have going on that day.

And while I can’t physically eat food regularly, I CAN drink anything I want. Including my favorite: mimosas 😁
