Is it Wrong to be an Android User?

To all android users, have you ever got these questions from others?

- Bila nak tukar Iphone?

- Kenapa tak beli Iphone?

- Kenapa tak beli Ipad?

- Buat apa beli Android? Beli la Iphone, lagi berbaloi.

And there are also some people giving the look when you use an android phone. I even heard people even said 'euw' to android phone. Iphone sometime become a wealth status, meaning if you have one, you have money. And do you notice some people are pressured to buy an Iphone eventough they dont like it that much and some time they cant even afford it themselves.

I have been an android user since android start getting popular which was around 2011. I remember my first smart phone was an LG phone. I never use an Iphone and for now have never thought of using one. Some people said to me, 'tak try lagi, dah try nnt, tak tukar da android'. I would say, for now no because i did use an ipad for more than 10 years. Although i love it, it havent make me thought of changing to Iphone.

I have my own reasons choosing Android phone:

1) Wide range of innovative design

Android have come up with a lot of innovative phone out there. I love that they have phone with stylus like the Samsung Note, phone that can be flip and fold like the Samsung Flip, Oppo Find Flip, Motorola Razr, Samsung Fold, Honor Magic. I have owned 2 of the Samsung Notes before and a Samsung Zflip.

2) Big memory storage

I love that android phone offer a big storage at affordable price. It can be up to 1TB and some of the phones you can add extra memoriy card. And I dont like the idea of putting my private pictures in cloud so I do need a big storage. My current phone have 512gb storage and i dont have to pay a single cents for cloud storage.

3) Varieties price range

I love that android come with a lot of price range you can choose from. Why this is pros? Sometime you dont have to buy the highest specs phone because they are not going to utilised all the phone features that much. For example if you buy phone for your kids or older parents where they only use it for chatting, social media, games and video streaming, you can find affordable phone around rm500-rm1500. That is good enough. And sometime you lost your phone or your phone not working suddenly but you need a phone fast, theres a lot of affordable choice u can buy on the spot according to your budget.

4) Specs

- Bigger batteries, better cameras, bigger screen. For example, have you seen the fold phone? The screen is so big and some come with a stylus. It can be a tablet substitute as the screen is big enough for you to browse through documents and write comment on pages of documents (I saw my boss did this on his Samsung Fold which i feel is so practical for his job. He wrote comments on my report on his phone and send it back to me without even opening his laptop!)

5) Free Apps

Android’s Google Play Store offers a huge variety of apps, including many that are free. Who doesn't like free stuff?

6) Phone Customization

Android allows users to customize their device. A lot of third party apps can be used to customized your phone such as themes, apps icons and keyboard. Im a sucker for cute theme!

7) Long Lasting

When it come to buying new phone, I will always go for the android flagship phone. Flagship phone meaning the phone that have the best feature and best technology or the brand best phone. Why? because they are usually long lasting. I can use them up to 4-6 years. I owned 2 flagship phones before which I used for 4 years and 6 years. Eventough its expensive, with time I feel its worth what I paid for and I dont like to change phone that often.

But android is also good and could be super affordable. So for me, use whatever you like. All have it pros and cons and none is better than the other. Its just the matter of preference. Other than that, dont judge people, be nice and respect each other choices.
