Sharing my go to Hair salon for the past 8 years for tame, easy to manage and classy hair - they always get the brief right!

@Picasso Hair has been my go to hair salon for the past 8 years and has seen me through many milestones in my life. I’ve tried a couple other hair salons in between to explore my options but I always still fall back with Picasso as I really haven’t found another salon that exceeds my expectations like them.

My go to hair stylists are Jeremy and Nicole depending on their availability and my schedule.

📍They have 2 outlets: Bugis, and Novena

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺!

👉🏻The session always starts with a 5-10mins consultation where they listen (!!) to what you want, provide recommendations etc and eventually customises something to your needs. I always believe there’s no one size fit all hair cut or perm, and they do just that for you. I am very specific with what I want e.g. I’d tell them I want volume rebonding but I don’t want my roots to be flat, big bouncy curls etc. These are noted down on a piece of paper and clipped to the board in front of you as you go through your session.

👉🏻They are not just a stylist but also a hair designer 🥹 many times I leave it to them for my hair cut and it always turns out perfect in the way it frames my face and perfects the curls.

👉🏻They don’t ever try to hard sell or upsell, and in fact super genuine, if your hair is not suitable for any services they would ask you to wait a few months or try something else instead.

👉🏻 Their curls lasts A LONG TIME! I’m not even exaggerating lol I’ve never seen the curls fade. Usually when I do volume rebonding (root straightening and curls at the bottom), it lasts me a good one year before I have to return (and the curls still lasts by then!!! it’s just that my roots have grown so I gotta keep them tame)

👉🏻 Their service is also amazing! They never fail to do a follow up check on your hair a week after your appmt. There was once I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the way my curls look and they invited me back to fix it for me without any charge 🥹

👉🏻 Bonus: They pamper you with snacks and drinks 😂

Pro tip: highly recommend going on weekdays when the salon is less busy for a faster and smoother experience. They are quite popular and packed at most times
