Soft and cushiony cloud sandals - worth the hype?

I got asked to do a review of my cloud platform sandals (and was surprised to know that so many people knows about this Indonesian brand - must be the magic of working with influencers 😂), so here’s my review of my Orion Platform sandals from Sevieyanashoes x cjm

⚪️Price: ~$50

It comes in 3 colours: Black, Brown, and Olive

⚪️Comfort - 4.5/5

As my description has suggested, it’s really cloud like with lots of cushion - the sole, the strap, everything is soft and cushiony. It is super comfy to walk in! The only downside I noticed is that there’s a lot of friction against the strap when your feet is wet cos of the material, and will not make a good shoe on rainy days.

⚪️Sizing - 4/5

I’d say they are true to size and I had stick to my usual sizing despite the sole length measurement of my usual sizing from them being smaller than usual, but the sandals are designed to be pretty wide, so if you have a slim foot it might slide out from the front when walking since the straps are soft with little tension so please don’t size up. If you have narrow feet I highly suggest sticking to your standard sizing or even going one size down! It’s slightly loose for me on the sides but I have to say after getting used to walking in it it’s not a problem for me and my feet doesn’t slip out at all 😬

⚪️Style - 5/5

It’s basically my go to footwear now LOL it’s so comfy and stylish and goes well with almost every outfit!

⚪️Buying experience - 3/5

Because it’s based in Indonesia and hosted on their local side, I had a lot of issues carting out and making payment. In the end I had to speak to their customer service directly on WhatsApp to settle my order and payment. And somehow they over committed their orders and I ended up having to be on preorder and waited over 2 months for my sandals to be delivered. I guess the downside also is that returns / exchange will be hard since they are a small local brand based on Indonesia.

Overall I’d still say it’s a shoe worth investing in, if it fits your usual style of dressing!
