Why I recommend hydroponic gardening

After 6 months of using an hydroponic growing system, I can say that they do definitely work! Your plants will grow- and FAST! I’ve tried herbs (parsley, basil, chives, thyme) and flowers (zinnias) and all grew very quickly.

All the herbs grew wonderfully and we are on our second round of planting basil.

The zinnias were an interesting experiment since they were giant zinnias which we soon found out should be much bigger when grown than the system would allow. They had massive root systems that clogged the filter and we ended up having to remove the plants from the systems as they got too big.

I am using an off-brand growing system that cost $70 not the leading brand which can cost up to $150 for the same size. Additionally, I used seeds that I already had rather than seed pods designated for hydroponic systems which definitely saved money.
