Who’s your Travel Bestie?

My wife and I have traveled a good bit throughout our time together, but it was this last trip that I’ve noticed that some people just don’t like traveling with one another. Whether it be friends or significant others, some people just aren’t happy with the people they travel with.

I got the pleasure to talk to a lady while in Turks and Caicos, and she and her friends were on their last day there. She said good morning, and I said good morning back, which prompted me to ask why she looked so upset prior to our interaction with one another. Especially if she was in what we considered #paradise

She went on to say that she did not enjoy her experience in Turks and Caicos, not because of the island, nor because of all inclusive hotel we were at, BUT more so because of the individuals she chose to travel with, which were her great friends.

I’ve also run into acquaintances who are married who have said their significant other is lame and they just don’t like traveling with them. Which really has me puzzled. My question to y’all, is who is your travel bestie? Mine is definitely my wife, and we always have a great time if we are local, or abroad!
