Quick story time😃

🌸 The morning after hurricane Beryl ( if you live in Houston or surrounding areas yk) I saw an ad on “ Nextdoor neighborhood” saying that some dogs that had been in the shelter for over 2 months were soon to be put down & she was on there. I knew immediately I wanted to go get her & that’s exactly what I did lol. Luckily the shelter that she was at was only 15 minutes from the house so my boyfriend & I drove up there to see if she was still there. When we got there they were asking about appointments which I didn’t have🫣. ff>> the lady took us to see stormy & the first thing she did was bark at us & we immediately thought No😂 I didn’t want a mean dog at alll y’all but she did it just that one time & they put us in this gated area & let her loose. She sniffed us for a little & started running & playing. We talked about what we wanted to do & we agreed on fostering first. The shelter provided dog food, 2 toys, & poop bags & we went home. After probably 3 days or so I told my bf I wanted to adopt her & we did so & the rest is history.

⭐️Overall rating: 10/10 would definitely recommend.
