🍓New Popeyes Strawberry Biscuit Review

I always like to treat myself to something sweet on a Friday afternoon to celebrate completing another successful work week. Today, I decided to stop by Popeyes and try out their new dessert, a strawberry biscuit. They are available for a limited time at participating restaurants and cost $1.79 each.

Similar to the Bojangles Boberry biscuit, the strawberry biscuit from Popeyes is a regular biscuit baked with artificial strawberry glaze and has white icing drizzled on top.

To be quite honest, I was very underwhelmed by this dessert. The strawberry flavor was too artificial and left a weird aftertaste in my mouth. Due to Popeyes infamous dry biscuit dough, this new menu addition could have used more icing as well. Overall, I would rank this biscuit a 6/10.
