WHY ARE LIQUIDS BANNED ON AIRPLANES⁉️🤔

Ever wondered why we aren’t allowed to bring liquids on board international-bound airplanes?

This rule is actually regulated worldwide by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in accordance to the recommended security control guidelines for screening liquids, aerosols and gels (LAGs). Does this mean that you have to leave behind your favorite skincare/lotion/shampoo when you travel?

The good news is liquids of less than 100ml is allowed on board international flights, provided the container’s capacity is less than 100ml and all containers containing liquids be stored in a transparent plastic bag. But why is 100ml the magic number?

The cap is set at 100ml because any potentially explosive liquid in quantities less than 100ml is not prone to explosion, as tried and tested by the professionals.
