Hey zesties!
I haven't been to Seoul in a while but have been seeing posts/reels of ppl cooking instant noodles at the convenience store and eating them by the han river? 🤭 such a mood.haha.
I feel like these cooking machines are such a gamechanger cus it opens up wayyyy more instant noodle options when i'm outside (basically nt restricted to cup noodles where i have to pour hot water in/microwave).
At Slurp Mee, there's a choice of ala carte or set (choice of noodles, choice of 3 toppings and a drink). Set prices differ based on the noodles you choose: Classic Set ($7.90), Deluxe Set ($8.90), or Premium Set ($9.90).
I chose the deluxe set cus i really craved for spicy korean noodles 🥹 iirc, classic set prices are for noodles that are more Southeast Asian eg. Indomee, maybe some thai noodles those kind.
The set is not gonna make you full (cus the 3 toppings are not an actual side dish lol) esp for guys hahahah. but for me, it's satisfying enough! (small regret: the shrimp may nt be a good choice cus it shrinks further after cooking to like haebee size 😅🥹)
The price may also be a bit steep especially considering that you can cook your own noodles with ingredients at home and a mcdonalds meal is also arnd this price point hahah.
But for the novelty of trying new flavours, the fun of using the machine 🤣, and just pure laziness to prep & washup at home, can still try! 🤪
would be a bonus if there's a nice view. maybe they shld open near sg river? hahaha
