Soon Wah Fishball Kway Teow Mee

I ordered the fishball soup and their fishball was amazing!!!! Legit the best fishball I’ve ever eaten. It’s so soft and bouncy. I ate it with the cut chili and it was heavenly. Totally would eat this whenever I’m at Newton Food Centre ✨

TKR Yummy Chicken Wing & Satay

Price: $0.80 each stick, minimum 10 sticks

Didn’t manage to try their chicken wings but their satay was goooood!! I ordered 5 pork (my friend ordered 5 chicken) and I really like their satay. Their peanut sauce was good too! I wish I could have tried their mutton and beef satay but they only allowed us to order minimum 5 sticks for each type of meat. Would definitely go back to try their mutton and beef!

Heng Carrot Cake

It’s not the best tasting carrot cake I’ve eaten but it’s pretty cheap! We ordered the smallest sized carrot cake and I think it’s pretty worth for it’s price 👍🏻

Hup Kee Fried Oyster Omelette

Only ordered this because my friend was craving it. I’m not a BIG fan of oysters so I only tried one oyster HAHA it wasn’t really fresh so it tasted pretty bad to me, especially since I already don’t like oysters. The egg was good though, it was crispy and dipping it in the chili sauce made it taste so much nicer! Wouldn’t order this again though.. only because of the oysters…

Last thing I wanted to add is that these stalls (or most of the stalls at Newton Food Centre) are only open at night so it’ll be good for you to visit during dinner time so you’ll have more variety of food choices!
