Mental hot topic in the christian community! When it absolutely should not be! Here are my thoughts on the topic!

Here are my personal thoughts on the topic.

First off mental health is a personal issue, but it is not something that needs to be suffered in secret. It should not be taboo to talk about. We are in a time where there is a mental health crisis. We should be helping those who are struggling and being a genuine friend to those who feel alone.

Mental Health is not a choice. What healthy person would willingly choose to be unwell, and anyone who chooses to be sad is not healthy. If someone broke their leg, would you tell them they did it on purpose for attention? 🛍Brand:If someone Lost and arm would you tell them it was because they didn’t pray? If someone went blind would you say it’s because they committed a sin? No! Because we treat physical illnesses with respect but condemn anything we see. One of our most important tasks on this earth is to love. And when we ignore those who are struggling, or worse prevent them from getting the help they need. We are the ones disobeying a commandment. Jesus Christ has felt every pain we have ever felt when he suffered for our sins. And I promise he understands the silent struggle that is mental health. Let’s all try to be more like our savior.
