this maxi dress hugs you in all the right places 🥺

Was having lunch at Jewel a few days back and decided to pop by Lovet to check out the shorts from their latest launch but ended up trying out a few more pieces 🙈

I was coincidentally wearing the Second Skin Padded dress which I carted out just two weekends ago so thought I’d just review it together!

1️⃣ 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗧 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗯𝗯𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗶 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀

I love the padded bust 😭 and the cotton ribbed knit material is so soft and comfy, it’s basically a SKIMS dupe! I bought mine in Black and in size S and it’s the perfect fit for me! the length is also just nice for my height (1.59m)! it’s non-sheer but not lined so can see a bit of the underwear line but it’s not super obvious on black! would recommend seamless undies if you are considering lighter colours!

A versatile piece that can be paired with shorts, pants, or even jeans and it changes up the whole look! I love the poof poof (as the bf describes) design and that it’s padded. Overall super comfy but I would have preferred the straps to be less close to the underarm area!

Initially thought that the thigh opening would be too big for me but it was actually ok! I love the graphite grey colour!! + the cuffed design (which bf said reminded him of schoolboy shorts 🤣)

Tbh I didn’t check if this one was the petite/regular version.. but I like that it’s fully lined and non-sheer unlike many other high-waist pants elsewhere! i quite like this piece but can see a bit of the underwear line 🥺 also love that it’s in an off-white kind of colour. Suitable for work or just casual outings!

Didn’t purchase any of the try-ons over the counter but am rly tempted to cart out the cuffed shorts and the high-waist pants!! 😭 will be heading to their new ION flagship store soon to try more items and hopefully cart some stuff out hehe
