“SG so hot” “SG nothing to do” NOT ANYMORE I GOTCHU!!

Minimal walking??? a lot of sitting??? where to sign up!!!

Am here to share this cozy date i had, especially since SG has been getting super hot and humid! There’s minimal walking because the stops on this date plan were just a few minutes walk away or a short bus ride! Either way u’ll be spending more time in air conditioned environment yASSS 🥴✊🏻

👕FIRST STOP - Thrifting at Queensway Shopping Centre ! We started our date at Queensway where there are a lot of thrift shops, like Honsieponsie, Nightingale, Bhabie’s market, etc. You can just walk in blindly but if there is a shop in particular that you wanna visit, it’s best you research beforehand to see if they are open on that day!

I gotta say Queensway is like an all-in-1 thrift venue. There were parachute pants, cargos, oversized vintage tees, denim skirts, reforms, and a lot of handmade beads/crystal and crochet accessories! A lot of pieces caught my eye 🤭

🍵 SECOND STOP - Anagram cafe! This cafe is just across the road from Queensway Shopping Centre, perhaps like a 2 mins walk away. You can come here for your much needed coffee or matcha mix!

The cafe is actually pretty tiny, but I love the interior and exterior design of it! If it’s not too hot, do choose the outdoor seating, it’s very instagrammable and suitable for candid shots! 🤤

🛋 THIRD STOP - IKEA Alexandra ! The BEST part of this date idea 🫠 IKEA is just a 4 minutes walk away from Anagram cafe! Here, you can just sit or lie on the furnitures which is so comfortable because their furnitures are always so soft! 🤭

We also got their hot dog and soya ice cream! So so so YUMSS 🤤 and it’s so worth! Hot dog for $1 and ice cream for 50 cents, you gotta try if you haven’t!!! And because our dinner was reserved late at 8.30pm, the small bites were enough to satiate our hunger while waiting for dinner!

🍝 LAST STOP - Lola's cafe! Been wanting to visit Lola’s new branch at Holland Village for a while and i finally got to!

You can walk 7-10 minutes from IKEA to Alexandra Hospital and then take a short 20 minutes bus ride to Holland Village. You’ll alight right outside Lola’s Cafe! Super convenient 😚

You can choose to end the date here or take a short walk to nearby dessert places like Sunday Folks, which is just a 7 minutes walk away (just take note of their last order timing)!
