TAOBAO Haul: Our TEA CEREMONY Deco & Items

By now you’d know Taobao is truly a gift for wedding deco 😍 In this post I’ll spill the TEA on the items we bought for our TEA ceremony 😉

1️⃣ Paper Flowers (S$1.40 - S$1.60)

Buy them in different sizes and colours and piece them up beside the 双喜. I was amazed by the quality of these paper flowers, they are really pretty! You might need to get a stickier adhesive to paste the flower on the wall or do it 1 day before your tea ceremony to prevent them from dropping. We used about 6 flowers (2 big, 2 medium, 2 small) for this.

2️⃣ Tea Set (S$34.00 Per Set With Box)

Do you know that shops in SG sells the exact tea set for $150 😨 You can get them easily from Taobao! We got the one with 8 ceramic cups, a tray and a gift box. The gift box required you to top up but it’s definitely worth it! We were able to transport the tea set from my place to my husband’s place and to the hotel easily with the box.

3️⃣ Disposable Tea Cups (S$3.60 For 100 Pieces)

This is perfect if you’ve invited many people for your tea ceremony and want an efficient way to pour and serve the tea instead of washing every cup. Get disposable cups and make sure they are on theme ✨ We only used about 50 cups!

4️⃣ Table Deco Pieces (S$4.80 For A Pair)

Place them beside any pot of flower you have at home, definitely amps up the celebratory mood!

5️⃣ Napkin Holder (S$2.00 For 1)

For when your family members/you cry or need to wipe their mouth after drinking tea 🥹
