JB: THE BAKED CHICKEN Is Worth The 30 Mins Wait

Okay guys…my family queued almost 30 mins for this restaurant and we were about to give up BUT I’m so happy we trudged on and stayed the course because THE PAPER BAKED CHICKEN WAS DAMN GOOD and totally worth the wait!

Located just a 8-10 mins drive from the JB custom, Restoran Teck Sing prides itself for its variety of tze char dishes (70 dishes) at an affordable price.

While the queue was pretty long, they had many tables in the restaurant and it moved at a reasonable speed.

Things you MUST Order:

1️⃣ Teck Sing Herbal Paper Baked Chicken 🐔 (RM 35)

They baked a fresh kampung chicken in a bed of herbs, the moisture from the chicken creates an amazing broth of sauce that went superbly with rice. The herbal taste wasn’t too overpowering too!

2️⃣ Curry Fish Head (RM 45)

Not pictured here because we took it away, it’s not made of coconut milk but condensed milk instead so it doesn’t feel that rich. Goes really awesome with rice and the fish was super tender. Loved it! Their curry is so popular they even sell the paste on Shopee in small packets.
