Stop Overpaying For Meals In GENTING, Come Here

If you’ve been to Genting, you’d know that the food prices there are relatively steeper compared to other restaurants in Malaysia. Understandably so, because Genting is a tourist destination for locals and foreigners alike. To give you a glimpse, I’d say food prices in the prime Genting area is similar to SG prices 💸💸

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food at an honest price, I’ve got just the recommendation for you: Mie Grand Seafood Restaurant

Why I Highly Recommend It:

✨ 1) All dishes were a hit, I especially enjoyed the curry grouper fish head with rice. The curry was at the right thickness and not too spicy. The steamed badin was so tender, not fishy and had a comforting taste with the soy sauce.

✨ 2) Each dish could honestly feed 3-5 pax even with the smallest size and prices were really good. It was only RM 30 (S$10) per pax with 4 dishes

✨ 3) They provided free transport to and fro the restaurant. You just had to call the number and wait outside Starbucks at First World Hotel. The ride to and fro the restaurant would take 5 mins each (Just a short drive!)

✨ 4) Their hot barley was not too sweet and it was homemade: I’m a sucker for homemade barley, not everywhere offers it!

On the cons, I’d say this resto is quite popular amongst the older folks so during peak periods there could be a very long queue for the free transport. When we were there, the wait was at least 20 mins. Still worth it to wait though!
