Esly an English Professor is in a slump after her wedding is called off my her fiancée just a week before the wedding. She has fully put her life on pause stuck in a depression. Her friend Pru gets her involved in a book club and they meet every year this year is different though and no one but Elsy can make it. She decides to book the cabin anyway and make the long drive alone. She gets lost on the way and ends up in the town of her favorite book series where she meets a grumpy bookshop owner and a town full of her favorite book characters. I don’t want to give away anything if you love a cozy book with a cute love story this one is for you!

Key Point #1 : Be brave and take chances you never know how something is going to work out. But the regret of not knowing or trying can be worse than the heartbreak that might come later.

Key Point #2 : Don’t stop living because something didn’t work out as planned. Life will continue to change around you and you will be frozen.

Key Point #3 : Be with someone who meets you where you are not someone who charges ahead and doesn’t even look back to see if you are there.

This has been one of my favorite reads in a while it was such a cozy magical escape that constantly had me thinking about if I could travel to the world of a book I’ve loved or a favorite show or movie where would I go and what would I do.

It was one of those books you never want to finish because that means it ended but you also want to see how it ends.

I also loved all the characters in this book they were all so lovable! It also had some great lessons and takeaways that were easy to relate to.
