Celtic Folklore Cookbook

I absolutely love this cookbook. It has some amazing recipes and also goes over some of the lore associated with them and just some of the Celtic folklore in general. It also tells you what Pagan holiday the recipe is associated with which is so helpful!

It’s a great book to add to your collection if you have Celtic ancestry or are following a Celtic path and want to draw closer to it or if you are just interested in Celtic lore. I feel like food can help us feel so connected.

I don’t make these recipes often since I do follow a more plant based lifestyle and they are very meat and dairy heavy. But I do break this out for special occasions and it’s always such a treat when I do.

There was also some nostalgia in this book because some of these foods my great grandmother use to fix during the holidays. She would always make minced meat pie for me during Christmas because I loved it…it’s not as gross as it seems lol it’s fruity and spiced no meat involved… I think 🤔 Seeing that recipe really brought back memories.
