Sleep is hard sometimes! Idk about you but I have trouble turning my brain off at night and it makes it a bit harder to fall asleep. Here are three supplements that can help with that:

- magnesium

- ashwaghanda

- melatonin

I actually started taking magnesium for muscle cramps and the other benefits it offers - so the potential sleep improvement is just an added bonus!

I’ve taken ashwaghanda in the past for my anxiety and stress levels - I think it helped but honestly I can’t remember.

I also used to take melatonin a lot.. probably too much. I had self-diagnosed insomnia and the melatonin helped for a time - but I heard that if you take it too often your brain will stop producing it’s own melatonin. So now I take it very rarely. TIP: take it when you have at least 8 hours of sleep ahead of you (having to wake up early before you’ve reached around 8 hours can make you feel really groggy and tired in the morning).
