Why I keep my vision board at work☁️

At the beginning of this year, I created a vision board and have kept it on my desk at work ever since. I absolutely love having it here at work with me and here’s why:

☁️ I spend more time at work than I do at home. I didn’t want to just create a vision board and then never look at it again. I want it to be in a place where I can be reminded of it daily. Since I spend most of the day Monday-Thursday at my cubicle (Fridays I work from home), it makes sense to keep it at work.

☁️ I’m reminded of my dreams and goals. Whenever I look over at it, I am reminded of what I want out of life, my intentions, hopes, and dreams. Thinking about these things often is really powerful!

☁️ It motivates me to work hard towards my goals so one day I can quit my 9-5. The pictures I chose to put on this vision board are what I want my life to be like. I want to work for myself, I want to travel more often, I want to one day write a book - and the reminder of these things motivates me.

☁️ It promotes positive thinking. And let me tell you, I need that at work more than I need it at home. I can feel anxious, sad, down, stressed, etc. at work. My vision board helps get me through those times. It makes me feel hope, gratitude, determination, and overall positive emotions.
