Sedona, AZ is one of the best hiking destinations in the US! They have countless great hiking trails as well as some excellent restaurants and lots of things to do. Here’s my list of all the best things to do for any trip to Sedona:

Devil's Bridge This is one of Sedona’s best hikes and ends with an absolutely epic payoff! If it’s early enough, try grabbing one of the few parking spots in the Dry Creek Trailhead parking lot, then walk about a mile to the start of the hike. From there, you’ll begin the ascent up the mountain which will end with the Devil’s Bridge itself.

Soldier Pass Trail Solider’s Pass is a great hike and has several interesting things to see along the route. Parking is easy at the Jordan Road Trailhead lot, then follow the signs to Soldier’s Pass. Along the way you’ll see landmarks including the Devil’s Kitchen sinkhole and the 7 Sacred Pools.

Cathedral Rock Get ready for one of Sedona’s most famous landmarks! There are 2 parking lots nearby though they can fill up quickly so get there early. It is about 1.5 miles each way, including the final portion which is closer to a rock climb to get to the top of Cathedral Rock.

Courthouse Butte Loop Trail and Bell Rock The Courthouse Butte Loop is a great loop trail which is about 4 miles long. It will take you all the way around both Courthouse Butte and Bell Rock, and the trail is mostly flat so it’s easier than some of the shorter (but more elevated!) hikes in Sedona. You can even climb up Bell Rock at the end if you want!

Birthing Cave The hike to the birthing cave is a lovely 2 mile hike. The hike is relatively flat for the majority of the way making it accessible to most. As you near the cave there is a steep incline and rocky path upwards into the cave. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes for this one!

Airport Mesa To be fair, the Mesa Airport Viewpoint isn’t as much a hike as it is a nice viewpoint, but it let’s you save some walking for those bigger hikes! You can park right in the lot for $3 and walk around to find a great spot for sunrise or sunset.
