design: snow flower theme 💜

i'm going to take you through the design process for how i came up with the idea for my january bullet journal in 2022: a theme inspired by V’s song ‘snow flower’.

IDEA

i get a lot of inspiration for my bullet journal from the music that i’m listening to, so i chose a song called, ‘snow flower’ by taehyung from BTS, as my inspiration.

BRAINSTORM

i decided to focus on the album art for the inspiration for this theme. so it had a scene of it snowing with a flower and a cartoon character. i imitated that by drawing the scene on the cover page.

FINAL TOUCHES

i thought it would look nice if i incorporated it all into a small snow globe to look more unique and to frame the scene better. i really liked that added design with all of the gold!

DESIGN

finally, i added the blue and gold borders around most of the spreads to make it a more cohesive theme,
