bujo 101: monthly layout 🗓️

the monthly layout spread is one that i like to give me an overview of the month to come, which in a way, mentally prepares me for what is going on the next month.

after putting the name of the month across the page, i will typically create a big calendar that is the focus of the spread. within the calendar, i typically will write down birthdays or events happening. that helps to prepare me for who i might need to get a gift for for the upcoming month. i also typically plan around big events for the month, so writing down the big events gives me a good overview.

next, i like to use the empty space around the page to create a section for monthly goals or reflection so that i know what my priority for the month is. i’ve also been recently setting aside a space to track my growth on social media to just encourage me that the hard work that i am doing is paying off.

then last, but not least, i will just decorate around the page with aspects from my theme for the month. i typically use this spread more at the beginning of the month than at the end of the month.
