All about my nicotine journey!
I started vaping in highschool because it was the “cool” thing to do like most teenagers do. After nearly 9 years of vaping I’m finally quitting.
💨 I started using random fruity vapes at about 14-15 years old. At 18, before the laws changed, I started buying my own products. I was using a juul with 5% pods consistently for about 2 years before switching to an alto vuse (still 5%.) I’ve been using the alto for about 4 years EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
💨 A year ago I started my quitting journey. It has been very slow and painful at times. Yes, painful… In October 2023 I smoked my last 5% pod and tapered down to 2.4%.
🦋I noticed immediately after switching to a lower percent of nicotine I was breathing better, sleeping better, performing better at work, spending more time with my friends and family. All of these things were hindered because I was either focusing on the next time I could charge my vape or buy a new pack of pods.
💨I caved in January of 2024 and went back to 5%. :( I promised myself it would only be until the last pod was gone! It was a month later.
🦋February 2024- Back down to 2.4%. Again feeling so much better.
🦋Another win… dropping even more to 1.8% pods in May 2024.
Today is my last day of smoking any form of tobacco or nicotine product. Here’s why:
🦋My lungs will improve capacity.
🦋My bank account will thank me tremendously. Some quick math below..
Pack (2) of pods- $24.78
1 pod=2 days roughly
$99.12 per week
$396.48 per month
$4,757.76 PER YEAR
Hello savings…
🦋I won’t have a vape ruining almost every single picture taken of me.
🦋 My health is important to me.
This will be a journal for myself to keep as well as other who want to join with me! I encourage you to quit with me if you haven’t already! I’ll be posting DAILY updates on my process. It will be real and raw but remember growth is never linear. 🫶🏻
