Low Stimulating Kids Movies

😌It can be really hard to find quality movies for our kids to watch that aren't overstimulating and addicting, but these are some I have found that have gentle themes + slower paced + exemplify positive behaviors and my toddlers LOVES them!

The importance of finding low stimulating movies for toddlers has a direct correlation with their behaviors, moods, and ability to pay attention.

What to look for in a overstimulating movie:

- lots of bright colors 🔴🔵🟡🟢

- fast paced movement

- quick transitions from each scene

- different voiceovers, lots of music 🎶📢

some examples are: cocomelon, baby shark,

blippy, pocoyo, etc.

📝What may work for one family, may not work for another, but I am all for sharing options we have found that work for us in hopes to do the same for you!

🫶🏽We really notice a change in better behavior when we incorporate lots of outdoor time, less tv time, but not completely eliminate it and when we do watch it, it's low stimulating options like these!
