Not a usual Freida read!!!🩺🩻🥼

Ok so I have loved every Freida book I have read because they are mysterious and have psychological twists… but this book was the complete opposite. I thought this was going to be scary, like she has a creepy roommate but nothing comes from it. Her roommate threatens her but that’s about it nothing comes from it. She also has a resident in charge of her who makes her life a living hell. Her fellow intern has way less of a workload and way less hours spent at the hospital while Jane is left with double the hours and double the patients. While her resident is nothing but mean again nothing comes from this either. She documents her hours awake and the struggles of getting out of medical school and going into the real world. She also discusses how she only went to this field because her mother forced her to. She meets a surgeon we call (sexy surgeon) who is an asshole to interns himself but also super into Jane. They don’t develop as much as I was expecting either.

It reminds me of greys anatomy but at the same time the story really didn’t go anywhere. It just focuses on struggles for medical interns and residents before they become doctors but the story stops so abruptly. I wish there were more to it…. I will read the second book that there is to see if anything happens but this book just didn’t do it for me sadly. But if you are a nurse or in medical school it might be relatable to you!
