Painted Book Edges

I have decided that I wanted to try book binding and painting book edges and the other day my journey finally began! 😍 This is my first practice attempt at painting book edges AND my first attempt at painting something realistic, as normally I paint cartoonish things. I honestly love how it turned out because I thought for my first try, it was going to go horribly wrong 😅 next up for 'Lilac Girls' I'd turning it into a hardcover, as you can see the paper back is a little beat up 😊
