Adelaide Book Review

I now present to you the saddest book I have read in a while. That being said, I gave this book 5/5 stars. Adelaide is a debut novel that completely moved me to tears and I wish I could read this one over again for the first time. From the first page of this book, I just wanted to give our main character the biggest hug and tell her that she’s important. I truly think that any woman in her twenties needs to read this book, but please look up the trigger warnings before jumping into this one.

A quick warning I will give before you read this one, is that there are no quotation marks in this book. It takes a little time to adjust, but after a couple of pages, it’s not a big deal. This is one of the reasons it reminds me of a Sally Rooney book. Again, this is a debut and I cannot wait to see what this author has in store for us next!
