Don’t let your son play football…

I was a little skeptical 🤨about signing my youngest son in football because it is a commitment. I’ve been a football mom before when my two oldest sons were younger. It was a 4 year commitment not only for them but for me as a parent. Making sure that they got to all the games and practices 4 days a week and games on the weekend was a lot. And because I had two kids at the time playing football🏈 in two different age groups, it was an all day thing. It was only until my kids told me that they wanted to take a break💔 from football that my time as a football mom had ended.

While they were on the team I saw the benefits of having my sons in football and this is why I decided to okay my youngest sons’ request to play 🏈 for the first time.

My sons learned…

🏈How to manage their emotions.

🏈How how to work as a team with others.

🏈How to establish good friendships and camaraderie with peers while working together as a team.

🏈Respect towards those in authority and leadership positions.

🏈Persistence, accountability, resilience, commitment & discipline.

🏈How to develop healthy habits towards food and exercise.

🏈 How to give your best no matter what position you have.

I’ve had multiple people try to convince me to sign my youngest up for another sport and I have but he has a love for football and it suits him. ☺️🏈🎉
