Bunch Of Crazies... 🧊

I know that, as of late, cold plunging has become a big thing.

I just can't get behind it. I HATE being cold. I don't even go swimming until late summer because the lake is too cold for me.

My husband, however, along with about 1,000 other people, does a cold plunge on New Years Day every year.

A mass crowd all goes down to one of our local beaches and hangs out and parties until a timer counts down and everyone plunges into the lake.

The water averages around 33° while it's usually a balmy 14° outside.

It's absolutely insane to stand on the beach and watch a wave of people run and jump into a nearly freezing body of water.

This event gets news coverage, ends up in the paper, and draws people from all around the PNW.
