⋒ If you’re on the fence- hire the videographer! I look back on our wedding video more than photos and I’m so happy we have it as we get older!

⋒ we only invited close family and our closest friends to the ceremony- it was way more intimate

⋒ Half and half floral💐 my bouquet and floral on the ceremony arch were the only real flowers we purchased! Everything else like the centerpieces, bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnières were all purchased and made from michaels and joann

⋒ D.I.Y- I hand painted or had my MIL work on her cricket for all the custom signs I wanted. My husband also made our Photo Booth and s’mores bar. We got all our wood at Home Depot and I used stain and white paint markers for the signs and saved hundreds!!

⋒ We had corn hole and a kids table/ kids games for the reception- highly recommend for kiddos because it is a long day for them

⋒ Picking a venue with indoor and outdoor accessibility! Our wedding was in July in Southern Utah so it was 95 degrees! Having everyone be able to have AC and then party outside when the sun went down was a plus and our guests didn’t melt!

⋒ Getting my hair and makeup done professionally. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and it took so much stress off me when getting ready

⋒ Hobby Lobby, Amazon and Michaels have a ton of AFFORDABLE aesthetic wedding decor and I got a ton from there and saved $$

⋒ Private Vows🤷🏼‍♀️ my husband and I wrote our own vows and then shared with each other in private- not during the ceremony. If was more intimate and emotional for us.
