well good news i got into 5 🥳🥳 (i didnt get into the UK ones because i applied way too late so yea :/) so i think i have enough experience to give yalls some tips!!

1️⃣ research research research

make sure to search up what the course you are interested in entails, ask seniors, google, reddit, everything as much as possible.

here are some things i recco u to search up :)

- double degree is where you have 2 contrasting majors, eg. one in science one in arts

- double major is in studying 2 majors of the same faculty eg. one in mathematics another in computer science, both are of the faculty of science

- minors as well, some can be really interesting like criminology!!

-school culture

- campus (accessibility to you esp)

- uni's world standing

- uni's course standing (eg. a uni can be top 10 in the world but a specific course can be top 100 only)

- opportunities (overseas/internships)

- halls/residences (if applicable)

- scholarships the school offers

- school fees

- percentage of fresh grads getting hired

- most importantly is to check the previous year's IGP so that you can have a gauge as to whether you will be accepted 🤩🤩

2️⃣ don't be shy, now is the chance to FLEX everything you did 🥵🥵

on your applications be sure to make your achievements sound as grand as possible even if it is a small scale event. you should not lie, but by reflecting on your role and the use of english, you can make it sound super impressive. 🥊🥊 highlight your strengths and weaknesses, and mention how your weakness can be improved on and how you are currently working on it

so do make sure to submit ALL the relevant documents

(keep it neat and keep them all in a folder so you can mass apply to unis)

3️⃣ ✨be sure of yourself✨

dont go into uni not knowing what you want to do as an adult. there is no harm in taking one or two gap years to just figure yourself out and where your true passion lies. ive known of some people that are just so unhappy in uni or even dropped out because they are just not interested in their field of study. so dont be them. have a fun uni life!!

‼️‼️ apply backups that your score is CONFIRM PLUS CHOP can get in if you really really wna get in this year ;) if not try again next year! no harm! no rush to enter uni!

🌏 for those applying overseas, for UK it will be through the UCAS website and for Australia it is directly to the school...... if it sounds too mafan, engage an external organiser to help you!!

(im not paid for this, but it was such a smooth process that iw to recco others)
