Things I learned from “psychology of money”

1️⃣ Determine your end goal and feel enough when you have reached it 📈

Pernah gak sih kdg2 kita udah mencapai financial goal yg kita set tapi ngerasanya biasa aja? Atau ngerasa kayak: harusnya bs lebih lagi nih bulan ini.. Aku pribadi pernah banget kayak gitu, tapi dari buku ini aku belajar kalo: it is unrealistic to keep making your goals unreachable. You take 1 step further in terms of your action, tapi your goal is always 2 steps ahead of your action. ✨Have some grace towards your achievements and feel enough!✨

2️⃣ Social comparison is the culprit 😒

Kadang2 motif untuk “jauh2in” financial goal kita terus menerus berangkat dari comparison. Selalu banding2 in keuangan sendiri dengan kehidupan finansial orang lain. ✨Comparison itu gak ada abis2 nya, jadi as long as you’re at a place where you can live comfortably, feel enough and know where to draw the line✨.

3️⃣ There is no reason to risk what you have for what you dont have and what you dont need 🧐

💡Contoh: kamu udah berkecukupan banget hidupnya, tapi kamu mau lebih dari apa yang kamu punya. And there’s this illegal shortcut to gain more money. If you are ever in that headspace thinking that you should take that shortcut, please rethink your whole decision. Apakah worth it risking all that you have for that extra bit of money that you dont really need?
