How to Style a Denim Maxi Skirt

Denim maxi skirts are making a huge comeback this spring! I love that they come in a variety of cuts, washes, and rises, so that everyone can find the style that suits them best.

I am wearing a tall skirt from Gap, which is one of the few #tallgirlfriendly styles I could find. But what’s great about the denim skirt trend is that tall women can shop for maxi styles and rock them as midi skirts (as long as the slit isn’t too high). Here are a few of the many ways you can style this trend for spring 2023:

1️⃣ Pair with a white tank or bodysuit, some heeled sandals, and a straw bag.

2️⃣ Combine your favorite denim skirt with another popular trend for spring - sheer! I paired it with a bra top and a sheer black crew neck, but this would also be a really fun outfit with a colorful sheer top.

3️⃣ Try a laidback look with a cropped crewneck sweatshirt, slouchy socks, sneakers, and a baseball hat. On warmer days you can swap out the sweatshirt for an oversized band tee.
