hey zesties 🍋 been a while!! went to sydney recently and my dad recc this place — french riviera at double bay 🔥🔥 he studied here 20+ years ago and it was really popular back then but nowadays it’s popularity died down w so many other franchise brands (gelato messina etc) popping up… 😵‍💫😵‍💫

but anw we went down to double bay (the only outlet in the whole of australia) and the shop owner was so nice — it costs $6 for both 1 or 2 flavors and he gave all of us extra scoops of ice cream!! 🍦😋 i only chose chocolate and coffee, but he gave me 2 additional flavors (passion fruit and coffee w rum) so i had FOUR SCOOPS in total for the same price of $6 🤯🤯

their ice cream is all HANDMADE so it was super smooth and creamy, definitely highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to get some old school vibes and good ice cream 👍🏼👍🏼

PRO TIP:

after getting ice cream, you can head back to circular quay via a ferry just a short 5 min walk from the shop 😌😌 alternatively you can take a bus straight back to town hall as well 👍🏼
