Getting my adult braces off

When I first got my braces at 20 I was super insecure and hated them so much. I thought they made me ugly and that no one would take me serious. They were also extremely uncomfortable and at times down right painful. At one point the pain became so bad that I could hardly eat and I lost 10 pounds. There were lots of ups and downs of the whole process that expanded over 2 years. As a dental assistant it was interesting watching how my teeth moved and after everything is done I’m so grateful I got them.
