Readable Bible Study

Hi! Welcome to my readable Bible study. Here I will be studying the scripture with y’all and going into depth with it. I wanted to do an audio Bible study but I got nervous and I didn’t wanna hear my voice in a recording. But I didn’t let that stop me from preaching the scripture like I have been seeing myself doing in my vision.

I am so excited to jump on into this Bible study with y’all! I’ve never done this before so bear with me but I have just been praying and asking god of how I can spread his word. And I’ve just been seeing myself doing a vlog about Jesus in my head and I know this isn’t a vlog but it is a blog!

In this Bible study I wanna go into just getting into knowing God and how to live for God. And no judgment will be here, we are all over coming out mountains. So, if anyone has some ways of how to spread the word of God to the public, fill free to comment down below! And if anyone has ideas of what to name this Blog please tell me your ideas!!!!

So if you have a Bible you can open up to Mark 4, we will be starting there

So most people who begin their Christian journey knows that Jesus had died for our sins so we could live anew. When many people begin their Christian journey they are always saying how they are gonna start again be different. But, are they really?

Mark 4:4-8 it states “As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants, so that they did not bear grain. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, some multiplying thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times.” Jesus spoke to the people to tell them how some people are when they begin their journey with god through metaphor with seeds. What he is saying is that although those people are saying they will follow God, they lose their footing and follow the devil because the devil is a much easier roll to follow. The devil tempts us with greedy, selfish things that make us feel good.

We start off as the seeds when we say we’re gonna follow God. We were buried in the ground. The people who were the seeds on the path were swept away from Satan in the flick of his wrist. They hear the word but they do not take in the word because the Devil gets to them before anything. Then you have the seeds that were on the rocky places. They are the people who are so excited to wash away their sins and take in the word of God. But once hardship comes that test their relationship with God, their faith falls away quickly. And you have the seeds in the thorns. They hear and take in the word but the people and life around them bury them in greedy desires that wash away God from them. And then you have the fruitful seeds. The seeds that are on good soil. They love and practice God’s word. When hardship comes they stay with God, through thick in thin. They push away all the greed and desires and they give their life to Jesus in joy! They are the seeds on good soil.

Mark 4:21-23, “He said to them, "Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed?

Instead, don't you put it on its stand?

For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open.” For God’s word is the lamp. When we get God’s word we must put that word on display and use that word. What good is that lamp if it is off and never used? Only there for decoration? God’s word is a light to shine the way to salvation! We must but turn off God’s light but stand strong with it! When the Devil comes to provoke us, we pray to Jesus and we let him guide our foot to the right area, but it is our job to place out foot in that foothold. For if your foot ever does slip, Jesus is there to catch you, all you have to do is ask him to help you. Be the seed that grows fruitfully and turns on the lamp of God’s word!

Now let us pray

Dear Heavenly Father, please guide these people here today to your love. Help them find their footing and build a strong life with you. God, forgive them for their sins they have had in the past and take them in as you have taken me. Teach your children how to love and grow under your wing. For you are with us every step of the way. We love you and we trust you with all our heart, God. In Jesus name, we pray, Amen.
