Has anyone ever been given a surprise charge at the vet? Or had to unexpectedly go when your pet got hurt? I had to take my baby Spooky to the vet recently because he started limping. His back knee was starting to hurt him and I got him into the vet as soon as I was able. It turned out he was developing feline arthritis because he was overweight. The vet took lots of X-rays and it was a seriously expensive visit with all the meds they sent home with us and his 2 upcoming follow ups in the next week or two. I really wish that If had pet insurance because I know that would have covered a lot of the costs and save me money in the long run. If anyone has any recommendations for pet insurance, let me know in the comments!
