My honest review on Chanel facial 😶

I’ve always wanted to try out a session at the Chanel Privé but was quite hesitant due to my sensitive skin and the price as well but I decided to bite the bullet and give it a go.

My skin type & concerns: Combi skin type (dry, oily t-zone), prone to sensitivity.

Total Damage: $250

What I tried: Le Soin Fermeté (The Toning treatment) | 1hr 15mins

Quick overview:

Chanel Vitality scanner (check your skin condition) > Quick full body relaxation massage > Cleansing > Oil Massage > Cooling Mask (head massage)

the reason for choosing the toning treatment was bc i wanted a more firm looking complexion/defined facial contours. And apparently toning helps with minimizing the looks of the pores so I went with that instead of the hydration treatment.

My experience: honestly I can’t compare much as I don’t frequent facial salon but I have to say it’s the best facial experience I have thus far.

The place to begin with is clean and comfy, and the bed is adjustable! my skincare therapist had it adjusted to my comfort when I lay down. And amazingly, the bed had a heat warmer ?! Halfway into the facial massage, she had it turned on and there was a warm sensation at my bum area and it was actually very comforting so much so that I doze off 🤪

The facial I had, focused more of the lifting technique paired with facial oil. The massage was prolly a good 15-20mins(felt quite long).

After the session: I did not have any rashes or breakouts so I can safely say that it’s suitable for my sensitive skin but then again, our skin types varies so do ask the beautician if you are keen to try 🤓

Overall, my therapist was really nice and her service was commendable. She offered water/ tea before my treatment and also after. I was really well taken care of and felt really refreshed after the whole session. However, if there’s anything to improve, I would say that they should include extraction as part of package, rather than an add-on service - $55 for 15mins 🧐🤔

Other than that I would say it’s a worthy experience - gotta treat yourself ! ❤️🫶🏻🤩
