✨ Eloping in Kauai | Why You Should ✨

Photographing small weddings + elopements in Kauai has been such a dream, and I honestly feel like it’s a little underrated, so I thought I’d make a post about why you should have your intimate wedding or elopement in Kauai 🌴

✽ Kauai is the greenest of all the Hawaiian islands! It offers lush green forests, mountains all around, and even a breathtaking canyon they call ‘ The Grand Canyon of Hawaii’. There are so many cool places to explore and options for where you could have your wedding ceremony + adventures.

✽ The island is known for having some of the most crystal clear beaches, and a good variety of beach-side landscape with ocean front cliff-sides that are so beautiful to explore.

✽ If you’re wanting to a “just us” elopement, Hawaii makes it super easy because they only require you to have an officiant to marry you, no witnesses are required. There are plenty of elopement officiants on the island who can help make this dream a reality!

✽ The islands are known for their helicopter tours and I must say this is one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever done - and I’m deathly afraid of heights! It’s a ‘must do’ on your adventure list for sure! It would be such a fun addition to a wedding day and make for some epic photos if you explored the island this way in your wedding attire

✽ One other thing I want to mention is how EASY it is to access all the parts of this island without much hassle! You can drive from one part of the island to the other in just a few hours which makes seeing everything you want to see, exploring, and having fun EASY!
