Mr Grumpy’s nasi ayam made me “grumpy”

i finally tried the raved mr grumpy’s nasi ayam! i always thought its ayam penyet but its actually chicken rice. the rice itself is fragrant and has flavour (like the chicken rice i’m used to when i order chicken rice manned by a Chinese). the sambal is towards the sweet side, its alright for me. now.. on to the fried chicken, it was moist and tender but nothing spectacular and i wasn’t satisfied after the meal, didn’t finish the rice too (or did i have high expectations?). anyway it is not something i would go for again… there’s no queue here at the Holland Drive outlet during lunch time so if you’re a fan, come here! at least i have tried and ticked this place off 👅 or do i need to try the one at Lucky Plaza or Toa Payoh?

it’s $6.50 per plate, + $0.20 to takeaway.
