Explore Lake Louise - Tips For Your Visit!

Lost amidst the majestic Canadian Rockies, I stumbled upon a gem of a glacier lake that stole my heart - Lake Louise. As a traveling content creator, I couldn't resist capturing the ethereal beauty of this enchanting destination.

This lake has water as turquoise as the Bahamas, and mountains towering over the lake. It’s an incredibly humbling sight to see, and it’s so peaceful. We went in September in the morning and I’d be lying if I said we weren’t freezing our butts off.

If you want photos in a dress or something aesthetic, bring some jackets and sweat pants to bundle up and simply take them off once you get there during the shoot.

Summer time is definitely the best time to see this lake, around July and August. But beware the crowds in the fall too! It’s fun to walk down the right side of the lake after entering to get a bit further from the crowds. We found this rock pile with no humans in the background which was the perfect spot for that instagrammable photo.

Arrive early enough in the morning in order to be able to grab a spot in the parking lot if you’re looking for that sunrise glow. This place is more than worth it and it’s close to a bunch of other beautiful spots in Banff!Lake Louise
