Having been to JB quite often with my family, I do enjoy myself a self-indulgent solo adventure to explore the cafes around there.

When my family were strolling sutera mall, I came to find YOU by the JWC roastery family to be of a short walking distance and made my way there. The waiters and waitresses there are young and can converse fluently in both English and Chinese making the whole experience alot more relieving.

As it was my first time there, I asked the cashier to recommend me a cuppa and I ended up with the walnut popcorn as recommended by the service staff. It’s a free seating so you can choose anywhere you’d like to be seated and your cuppa will be served to you. The barista was also kind enough to explain to me my cuppa and the proper way to enjoy it.

Overall the cafe is of a chill vibes and it’s a good place to get some work done if you happen to be spending a week in JB or would like to experience working from home from the straits. It’s definitely a refreshing break away from the usual cafes that are so packed like Keijimoto. There are several other cafes in the vicinity of Jalan Sutera and I can’t wait for my next adventure in JB to explore other cafes.
