Planning a trip to Taiwan? Don’t miss out on this locals favourite restaurant - 小器食堂 is a Japanese restaurant that left a strong impression in my mind 😌 and here is why.

1. Guaranteed good meal

My friend and I each got a set lunch, which came with salads, sides, main dish and a bowl of rice. First of all, the ingredients are super fresh, flavours are nice and subtle. The xiaoqi patty tasted just right, unlike some restaurants, they will drizzle or over season the meat. It’s a great place to get a well balanced delicious meal 😋

2. Cozy and natural vibes

The interior design of the store as well as the utensils were all thoughtfully designed - this place reminded me of Muji, very zen.

3. Family friendly

During our meal, we noticed that the majority of the customers were local taiwanese. Most were with their family and kids.

4. Great service

Even though the restaurant only had 2 staffs taking orders and serving meals, they provided superb service and it was an enjoyable experience.

5. Convenient location

Located within Huashan 1914 Creative Park, this place is a great lunch spot. #LetsGetMovin and explore the creative park, followed by enjoying a #GetClassy meal!
