May 2024 reading wrap up

it's not my most read month as of late but I think it was a great quality month of reading.

•One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig (Gothic fantasy romance)

•Hearing Red by Nicole Maser (suspense, apocalyptic sapphic romance)

⬆️I can't find proof that the cover is AI but I hope this author is working with artists and not AI

✨️honorable mentions:✨️

•They Never Learn by Layne Fargo (mystery, thriller)

•Set the Record Straight by Hannah Bonan-Young (sapphic holiday romance)

it truly is a tie between One Dark Window and Hearing Red. Both I couldn't put down. Both feature romances I was hooked on.

3 star isn't a bad rating for me. it still means it's worth reading but that I had more than a couple things not working for me during the reading experience. which reminds me, I need to do a post on my rating system for fun!
