1️⃣ Sounding Out - Not Gallery

Exploring the nuanced relationship between nationhood and self, Sounding Out is an exhibition that seeks to spotlight the ways in which individuals constantly negotiate their place in society.

Located conveniently near NLB and NDC, this is a place you can pop by for an 🎭 artsy respite from SDW. Opening hours: Mon-Sat (12-6PM),

Sun (1-5PM), Wed & Fri closed.

2️⃣ Come catch STPI’s anniversary exhibition featuring >20 artists all over Asia through the 21 years it’s been with us! Not much has been revealed about this 🖼️ exhibition so I guess you have to come down to see if for yourself, especially if you’re into print and paper making. Opening hours: Daily (10-7PM), Sun (11-5PM).

3️⃣ Archifest is back! Various places in 🇸🇬 have been transformed to celebrate the city’s architecture and built environment, whilst engaging in meaningful and productive 🏗️ architectural discourse. The picture is just one of the many happenings! Not to be missed if you’re into architecture. Check out the official site (archifest.sg for more info, or the IG (@archifest) for full lineup.

4️⃣ Y’all I’m sooooo excited for⚡️🎵 Baybeats. Check out their IG (same name) or website for more deets. Pro 😎 tips: Take time to listen to the bands first, so you’ll know exactly where to go on the day(s) itself. Bring a small 👛 bag (like you’re going to a concert/club). For 🎫 ticketed venues, queue at least 30-45mins early at the walk-in queue.

5️⃣ & 6️⃣ are to be experienced together as they are literally minutes away from each other! Plus you’re already traveling so far so might as well make your trip’s worth. 7️⃣ A solo exhibition by kinetic artist Yang Jie (IG: @yj.sg) will be showing at MrLim’sShopOfVisualTreasures (IG same name). This is a visual space at Haji Lane where experimental, aspiring 🤩 artists can showcase their works at. Join them for the opening reception on Fri the 13th, 5-9PM! Opening hours: Tue-Sun (12-7PM).

8️⃣ The same team behind the 🍆 exhibition in Apr is back with another exhibition, in a HDB 🏠 flat this time! Admission is strictly by appointment only. Head to their website (www.houseofvse.com) to RSVP. Slots are very limited, and minors 🔞 under 18 would be denied entry.

9️⃣ EASTIES REJOICE! Local brand SKIN+BONE (IG: @skinplusbone) will be selling their 👅 tongue-in-cheek wares at this lifestyle event 💸💸💸

🔟 Those who ain’t Easties, there’s another pop up at 67 South Bridge Rd (03-01) happening on the same day (14 Oct) by fellowdesign (IG: @fellowdesign.co) where 📚books,🪑furniture and tools designed by the team will be sold. RSVP is required and this is a BYOB 🛍️ event.
