Bonjour darlings! French girl style is one of the most coveted fashion styles out there. From the juxtaposed simplicity with depth to the effortless minimalism, the French style exudes a timeless, elevated look. Today I’ll be sharing some tips on how I dress those French style!

1. Stick with neutral tones

French girl style contains mostly neutral colours like beige, black, white, blue, navy, grey, and khaki. The great thing about these neutral shades is their versatility. You can mix and match them endlessly. Here I mix 3 neutral colours for my fit which are white, blue and black.

2. Start with basics

The French girl style starts with the basics. You need to look polished, casual, and clean. French women combine basic items with one or two statement pieces and that is how they get their perfect look. Look for simple designs, classic T-shirts, button-downs, sweaters, and a great fitting pair of pants. Here I wore a blue bubble sleeve button-downs and pair it with a classic white jeans.

3. Choose style and comfort over trends

French style is more about comfort and practicality than trends. They pick items that they can wear daily, no matter if they go to work or a brunch with friends. The French girl style consists of sneakers, low or block heels, and flats. Here you can see that I choose to wear a black pointed block heels and pair it with my black shoulder bag for comfort and style.
