Graduating college at 33

Hello, I'm Quetta Jay

I live in Atlanta, GA

I just graduated college at 33

GSU Accounting major

Graduating seem impossible

Most times I was one of the oldest in my classes

Many times people asked if I was a student or staff

I worked multiple jobs at the same time my entire college career

I fought some of my toughest battles while going to school

Silently fought all of them out of fear

I didn't reveal my problems to my family and friends though they supported me

I often felt I didn't belong

Most of all my friends

completed college and work in their field of study

I ran out of financial aid half way through

School and work cause me to miss important events

Towards the end I met many friends

I started to feel I belonged

I appreciated the journey
