Comparing Shine n Jam vs Edge Booster for that perfect braid down. I prefer the Shine n Jam for its amazing scent, however in my opinion, the hold isn't that great alone for 4c hair. I prefer the red or yellow jar of shine n jam over the rainbow line.

The edge booster honestly creates a lot of build up and leads to white flakes and I hate that but If you have both the rainbow shine n jam and the edge booster I saw a TikTok hack that involved mixing them together for the ultimate hold.
